- stitch a robot?

I was so excited when I saw that this magazine was out, and I was REALLY excited when I saw that fantastic knitted robot on the cover, accompanied by the words "stitch a robot." It doesn't say "crochet a robot," but "stitch a robot." And it's next to a robot that is clearly a knitted robot. Anyone would conclude from this that the magazine contains a knit pattern for the robot displayed, or one very similar to it. I was really upset when I got it home and realized that the pattern is for a completely different robot, and it's a crochet pattern. I hate to say it, but I think the cover is deliberately misleading to hook more people into buying the magazine. I would never have expected this from O'Reilly, of all publishers. I have pointed it out to others who agree that the text is very misleading. I'm sure the magazine would have just as well with a more honest approach with the text on the cover. I would have subscribed to this magazine; now I'm not so sure.Posted by lovebot on November 30, 2006 at 08:40:53 Pacific Time

I was very disapointed to find that the pattern for the robot appearing on the cover of premeir craft was not the one pictured on the cover .
