A Small Glossary of Terms:

  • RS right side
  • WS wrong side
  • k knit
  • p purl
  • k2tog knit two stitches together
  • p2tog purl two stitches together
  • ssk slip two stitches knitwise individually, then knit them together through the back of the loop
  • sl slip a stitch purlwise
  • * * anything between these symbols is meant to be repeated
