Oh Susie, I read your article in Volume 8 of Craft and wondered if I had written it myself.....I cannot tell you how many times I have re-organized my fabrics knit vs. woven, and from there 1x1 rib vs. jersey or plain weave vs. twill weave; solid vs. print....the categories go on and on.
There are so many out there like us, but there is hope to turn those beloved yards into treasured, COMPLETED projects! My pal Trish and I have set out to write a book to fill just that need:- One-Yard Wonders
Coincidentally, we are currently seeking original project design submissions, and I encourage you all to apply! You may find more info at http://www.oneyardwondersbook.com
We look forward to your submissions and putting those lonely, abundant yards to great use!!Posted by hazelandmelvin on July 22, 2008 at 06:37:37 Pacific Time
