New Media Now: Interactivity Forum

Video artist Maya Ciarrocchi, theater designer Joseph Silovsky, and choreographer Donna Uchizono lead a mini-workshop on interactivity, technology and performance. Ciarrocchi has designed video for performance luminaries such as Merce Cunningham, Bebe Miller, and Ping Chong. Silovsky, a performance artist in his own right is also a collaborator with The Builders Association and Radiohole. Downtown choreographer Uchizono has collaborated with a range of artists and will facilitate the workshop. Plus learn about an innovative MFA program in New Media Art and Performance, tour the facilities, and meet current students. The Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University is located in the heart of Brooklyn in Fort Greene and is accessibly by the B, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, 5 subway lines.
